Corporate social responsibility

Sun Life is committed to giving back to the local community and has made huge efforts in raising awareness and funds for local charities.

Sun Life employees in Ireland have raised over €620,000 for community groups and charities in the southeast since we began fundraising events and establishing charitable partnerships 20 years ago. These events have taken many forms including galas, comedy nights, sponsored walks and runs, table quizzes and much more. Every year, we ask employees how they want to support local groups and charities.

In the last year, employees showed their continued generosity by raising over €50,000 for them and for many other charities.

Waterford is the capital of the sunny South East

Why Waterford? A natural playground for golf, equestrian, walking, angling, water sports and cycling enthusiasts, Waterford has so much to offer. The county offers a dazzling coastline, the Waterford Greenway, beautiful river valleys and two dramatic ranges of very accessible mountains. Our recently established Greenway provides the perfect opportunity to explore our beautiful coastline and countryside. If work/life balance and the cost of living are the rationale for moving, then Waterford should be top of your list. The cost of living in Waterford is significantly lower than in Dublin.
